Do I have to pay for commercial use?
No. You are not required to pay for a commercial license, however if you are using Recursive for work in an organization we encourage you to purchase a commercial license to keep Recursive independent and 100% user-supported.
What is your refund policy?
We offer full refunds within 7 days of purchase with no questions asked for Remote Access. Catalyst and Commercial licenses are non-refundable.
Do you store, access, or process user data?
Recursive runs locally on your machine. Your code, sessions, and project data never leave your device unless you explicitly use Remote Access, which is secured with end-to-end encryption.
What does the Catalyst license grant?
By becoming a Catalyst member, you'll receive early access to beta builds and community badges. Catalyst plays a vital role in helping Recursive remain 100% user-supported, free from investor influence.
Do you offer discounts?
Students and nonprofit employees are eligible for a 40% discount on Remote Access. We do not offer other discounts or promotions.
