Future In Detail LLC is an independent software company based in New York. We build Recursive — a customizable workbench where AI agents can research, plan, create, use connected tools, and return finished work under your direction. The company is self-funded and answers only to its customers.
Why we build Recursive
AI work is shifting from asking one model for a response to directing capable agents across whole jobs. That shift only works when you can see what happened and stay in control. Recursive keeps the plan, tools, progress, decisions, and result together so agent work remains understandable and reviewable. You keep your expertise and judgment; the workbench gives agents a dependable place to work.
What the product does
- Agent sessions — delegate whole jobs to durable agents with the model, tools, permissions, and oversight you choose.
- Tasks & plans — turn goals into tracked work and reusable plans that people or agents can execute.
- Routines — schedule recurring jobs or trigger them from the systems around your work.
- Plugins & MCP — add tools, skills, rules, themes, interfaces, and Model Context Protocol servers.
- Your models — choose Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, OpenRouter, local models, or another connected provider for each session.
- Run anywhere — run on hardware you control and stay connected from desktop, mobile, or the web.
How we treat your data
Recursive collects nothing by default. Your prompts, project files, sessions, and workbench state stay on hardware you control unless you send them somewhere yourself. Optional diagnostics are anonymous and off until you opt in; remote access is always end-to-end encrypted. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
