Product API reference

The Product API publishes its OpenAPI 3.1 description from the same operation registry that serves HTTP requests. This keeps the reference current as first-party and plugin operations are registered.

Fetch the contract

Section titled “Fetch the contract”

The endpoint uses the same authentication as the Product API. Fetch it with an authenticated request to inspect the complete contract, including operations contributed by enabled plugins:

The response is an OpenAPI 3.1 document. Each operation includes its request and success schemas, Problem response shape, capability, stability, result mode, and emitted events.

Generate clients

Section titled “Generate clients”

Save the response and use any OpenAPI 3.1-compatible generator:

Because the document is live, regenerate clients after installing or updating plugins that contribute Product API operations.
